GTA 5 Online Drift Races are a thrilling way to test your drifting skills while earning rewards in Los Santos.

Introduced in The Chop Shop DLC in 2023, these events let players compete for points based on their drifting performance rather than just speed.

How to Play Drift Races in 2025

To start a Drift Race, players can navigate through:

  • Pause Menu > Online > Jobs > Play Jobs > Rockstar Created > Races

These events support up to eight players, and the host can customize settings like the number of laps (up to 99) and whether custom vehicles are allowed.

All GTA 5 Drift Races (2025)

Currently, 10 Drift Races are available:

  • Original Tracks (2023): A Hill To Die On, Beach Slap, Highway Code, Let Fly, Smoke and Mirrors, Textile City Limits, Wide Berth
  • New Tracks (2025 Update – Feb 6): Buckle Down, Gang’s All Here, Go With the Flow

Eligible Cars for Drift Races

Only vehicles with the Drift Tuning upgrade can participate. Here are 15 compatible cars:

  • RUNE Cheburek, Übermacht Cypher, Declasse Drift Tampa, Declasse Drift Yosemite, Annis Euros
  • Fathom FR36, Karin Futo, Karin Futo GTX, Dinka Jester Classic, Dinka Jester RR
  • Vulcar Nebula Turbo, Annis Remus, Übermacht Sentinel Classic Widebody, Benefactor Vorschlaghammer, Annis ZR350
