Google is preparing to roll out a new feature on the Play Store that will allow users to create personalized AI-generated avatars for their Play Games profiles. This new option is gaining interest among gamers, as AI avatars are becoming increasingly popular in the gaming community.

The AI avatar generator was first spotted in a Play Store app version update by Android Authority. While the feature isn’t available in the current Play Store beta, the publication demonstrated it in action with a screen recording.

The AI generator will let users choose from three main parameters to create their avatars: character, background, and art style. Some of the available characters include options like Dragon, Fox, Cat, Dog, Octopus, Robot, and Warrior.

For the background, players can pick from settings like Forest, Space, Beach, Desert, and more. Additionally, various art styles such as Comics, Anime, 3D Cartoons, and Cinematic will help personalize the avatar.

Using the AI feature will be simple. When the feature becomes available, users can tap a pencil icon next to their profile image in the Play Games app. This will open the AI avatar generator, where they can select their desired character, background, and art style. Once these choices are made, the AI will create an avatar. If users are not satisfied with the result, they can tap a button to refresh and randomize the options.

Currently, the Play Games app only offers preset avatars. However, with the AI avatar generator almost ready for release, Google will soon offer a fun and customizable way for users to represent themselves in the gaming world.
