Google Pixel Devices Get Stability Fixes with Android 15 QPR2 Beta 2.1

Google has released Android 15 QPR2 Beta 2.1 for Pixel devices, addressing several bugs reported by testers.

This update, with the December 2024 security patch, is available for the following devices: Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Key fixes in Beta 2.1 include:

Device stability improvements: Fixed issues causing devices to freeze, crash, or restart unexpectedly.

Emoji Workshop bug: Resolved an issue where the Emoji Workshop options appeared when selecting wallpapers from other categories.

General system fixes: Various issues impacting system stability and connectivity have been addressed.

The update is 23.94 MB on a Pixel 9 and will be available as an over-the-air (OTA) update for all eligible devices enrolled in the Android Beta program.
