The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the latest and greatest foldable smartphone from Google, offering a stunning 8-inch OLED display, a powerful Tensor G4 chip, and a sleek, premium design.

This device is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the original Pixel Fold, with a taller, narrower front display, a more compact form factor, and a larger main display that folds flat.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold Review

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is a significant improvement over the original Pixel Fold, with a sleeker design, a more practical aspect ratio, and a larger main display that folds flat. The device is also remarkably thin and light, measuring just 0.2 inches unfolded and weighing 257 grams.

The 8-inch OLED main display is stunning, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The crease across the display is less noticeable than on previous foldables, and the improved ultrawide camera with dedicated macro mode is a welcome addition.

However, the device does have a few drawbacks. The camera block is quite large and dominates the left side, and the battery capacity has been reduced slightly compared to the original Pixel Fold. Additionally, the device lacks dust resistance, so users will need to be careful when using it in dusty environments.

Overall, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is a fantastic foldable smartphone that offers a premium design, a stunning display, and impressive performance. While it may be pricey, it’s a worthy competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and OnePlus Open.
