Google

Google has launched Deep Research, a new AI tool powered by its Gemini bot, designed to handle research tasks for users.

Currently available to Gemini Advanced subscribers in English, Deep Research allows users to ask Gemini to gather information on a particular topic.

The tool creates a multi-step research plan, conducts searches, and provides a report with key findings, complete with links to the sources.

This tool aims to enhance AI’s agentic capabilities, where systems can autonomously perform tasks for users.

Deep Research is part of the broader rollout of Gemini 2.0, Google’s next-gen AI model.

Users can export the AI-generated research to Google Docs and tweak reports for more detailed insights.
