NaturalVision Evolved, one of the most popular graphics modification packages for GTA 5, has received a significant update featuring enhanced visuals and new customization options.
The July 2025 update introduces several major improvements to the mod, which transforms the 2013 game’s graphics to look more realistic and modern. Development team leader Razed announced the changes in a Patreon post accompanied by a trailer showcasing the new features.
Key additions include a complete overhaul of NPCs at the Vanilla Unicorn strip club, featuring new physics, improved character models, and enhanced lighting. Two major locations – Del Perro Pier and Mirror Park – have received dozens of texture and prop updates to more accurately reflect their real-world inspirations.
The update also introduces new graphics options, including a Volumetric Lightning shader for thunderstorms and a customizable Lens Flare shader. Players can now create custom raindrops effects and access an optional DLSS, DLAA, and FSR upscaling plugin for improved performance.
A new photo mode has been added with various overlays, frames, and stickers for in-game screenshots. Additionally, all Herr Kutz Barber Shop locations have been completely redesigned with new lighting, props, and textures as part of the premium content pack.
The development team has also addressed several technical issues, including fixes for the LSPDFR compatibility patch, Rockstar Editor crashes, and improved compatibility with RAGEMP packages. ReShade files and presets have been updated to work with the new visual effects.
NaturalVision Evolved has been one of the most ambitious graphics overhauls for GTA 5, with 2024 marking its biggest year of development. The mod continues to attract support through Patreon, with different tiers offering varying levels of content access.
The mod remains available exclusively through the developers’ Patreon page, with supporters helping fund continued development of the extensive visual enhancement package.
