The fantasy action-adventure game Eternal Strands received an update today that adds NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation support. This feature will boost frame rates for players using GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards.
Eternal Strands already supported several NVIDIA technologies since its January 2025 launch, including DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Frame Generation, DLAA, and NVIDIA Reflex. Players could also switch to the latest transformer AI model through the NVIDIA app for better image quality.
Strong Performance Gets Even Better
The game already ran well on release. Testing on a system with an i7-13700F processor, RTX 4080 graphics card, and 32GB of RAM showed impressive results.
At 4K resolution with epic settings and DLSS Ultra Quality plus Frame Generation enabled, the game averaged 118 FPS during benchmark testing. Without DLSS and Frame Generation, it still managed 89 FPS on the same demanding map.
The game minimized the stuttering issues common in Unreal Engine 5 games. Despite some occasional frame drops, performance remained playable throughout extensive testing.
More DLSS Updates Coming
Several other games will receive DLSS support soon:
- Strinova: The free-to-play anime shooter gets DLSS Multi Frame Generation, Frame Generation, and Super Resolution tomorrow
- Monster Energy Supercross 25: Will add DLSS Super Resolution later this week
- Diablo IV: Season 9 launches July 1 with native DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation support
Diablo IV Season 9 Details
The new Diablo IV season, called “Sins of the Horadrim,” adds hidden Horadric Strongrooms in Nightmare Dungeons. Players can use ancient Horadric magic to create custom spells, craft powerful jewels, and face a new Astaroth encounter.
These updates show NVIDIA’s continued push to bring advanced graphics technology to more games, giving players with compatible hardware significant performance improvements.
