Joel Kerry Rumored to Play Harry Osborn in Upcoming MCU Spider-Man Film

A new rumor suggests that actor Joel Kerry may join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Harry Osborn, Peter Parker’s best friend, in the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The movie is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026.

If true, this would be Harry Osborn’s first appearance in the MCU. The character is a well-known figure in Spider-Man’s story but has not been featured in the Marvel films starring Tom Holland.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be the fourth MCU Spider-Man movie and is expected to bring a fresh start for the character and the franchise.

Reports suggest the film may take inspiration from the “Brand New Day” comic storyline, which introduced major changes for Peter Parker and gave Harry Osborn an important role.

Other casting rumors include actress Sadie Sink in an undisclosed role. Marvel Studios has not confirmed Joel Kerry’s involvement, and fans will have to wait for an official announcement as production moves forward.
