The Cyberpunk 2077 universe is expanding once again, this time with a collaboration between Kuro Games‘ open-world RPG, Wuthering Waves, and the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime.

Set to arrive in 2026, this exciting new DLC will see characters from Night City stepping into the world of Solaris.

Since its launch in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 has inspired multiple media adaptations, including the highly praised Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, which aired on Netflix in 2022.

Despite only having 10 episodes, Edgerunners became a fan favorite, thanks to its unique characters and storyline. Now, some of those beloved characters, like Lucy, David, and Rebecca, will be making appearances in Wuthering Waves.

Although details about the collaboration are still scarce, fans are speculating that a Night City inspired setting could be introduced in Solaris, providing a perfect backdrop for the Edgerunners.

This cross-over event marks a new chapter in gaming collaborations, much like when Horizon Zero Dawn’s Aloy appeared in Genshin Impact.

In the meantime, Wuthering Waves is preparing for its Version 2.3 update, which will be released on April 29, bringing plenty of new content.

Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 and Edgerunners are already buzzing with excitement, eagerly awaiting more information on the upcoming DLC.
