CD Projekt Announces Full-Scale Production for The Witcher 4

CD Projekt has announced that The Witcher 4 (Project Polaris) has entered full-scale production, marking a significant step forward for the first instalment in a new Witcher trilogy.

The game, expected to be released in 2025, is being developed with 400 staff members and is set in Unreal Engine 5.

While The Witcher 3’s Geralt of Rivia won’t be the main character, voice actor Doug Cockle confirmed he will appear in some capacity.

The company also revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 has now sold over 30 million copies, with its Phantom Liberty expansion selling over 8 million.

These figures reflect strong sales, with both games gaining substantial fanbases.
