British music magazine NME said Jin could have succeeded as the lead singer of a band, praising his emotional vocals and rock sound.

Billboard described the album as a mix of seven tracks that highlight Jin’s matured voice and versatility. It praised the album’s dynamic band sound and emotional depth.
V Magazine added that Jin poured his life experiences into Echo, showing growth in both musicality and expression.
Jin will perform the title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 22 (KST). He also recently appeared on Netflix’s Kian’s Bizarre B&B, where fans enjoyed his playful and caring side.
