Bluesky Hits 24 Million Users, Gaining Traction as X Alternative

Bluesky, the emerging alternative to X (formerly Twitter), has reached a significant milestone with 24 million users.

The platform has garnered over 700 million posts and 3.1 billion likes, showing impressive growth since its inception.

High-profile figures like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Stephen King, Guillermo del Toro, and journalists such as Rachel Maddow and Don Lemon have joined the platform, further fueling its popularity.

While Meta’s Threads gained attention with rapid growth, its momentum has slowed, currently sitting at 275 million monthly active users. X (formerly Twitter) still holds the lead with 611 million users.

It remains to be seen if Bluesky can sustain its growth and compete with these major platforms.
