Bandai Namco has announced that Blue Protocol, the free-to-play online action RPG, will end its service in Japan on January 18, 2025.

The game launched on June 14, 2023, for PC, followed by releases on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on December 13, 2023.

The planned western release, to be published by Amazon Games, has been canceled. Bandai Namco expressed disappointment over this decision.

Blue Protocol will continue to receive content updates, including new storylines, until the service ends in January 2025. The game remains available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in Japan.
