Audi has revealed its groundbreaking Q6 e-tron offroad concept during the Kitzbühel World Cup weekend in Austria, showcasing the future of electric off-road capabilities.
The prototype, built on Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE), features a powerful 380 kW dual-motor setup and newly developed portal axles, allowing it to conquer gradients up to 100 percent (45 degrees).
Key features of the concept include a 6.3-inch increase in ride height and a 9.8-inch wider track, enhancing its off-road prowess.
The vehicle’s innovative portal axle design boosts wheel torque by 50 percent, delivering a combined torque of 9,883 lb-ft.
While the top speed is capped at 108 mph to prioritize off-road performance, the concept is engineered for rugged terrain.
This offroad concept will make its official debut at the FAT Ice Race on February 1, 2025, offering a glimpse into Audi’s vision for the future of electric off-road vehicles.
