Apple CEO Tim Cook earned $74.6 million in 2024, an increase from $63.2 million in 2023, as disclosed in the company’s annual proxy filing.

Cook’s compensation included:

  • $3 million base salary
  • $58 million in stock awards
  • $12 million in performance-based awards
  • $1.5 million in other compensation, covering 401(k) contributions, life insurance premiums, vacation cash-out, security expenses, and personal air travel.

Apple mandates that Cook use private aircraft for both business and personal travel.

Although his 2024 earnings surpassed the previous year, they were still lower than the $99 million he received in 2022.

After that record year, Cook and Apple’s Board of Directors decided to reduce his target compensation to $59 million.

However, Cook earned more due to Apple’s strong performance and resulting cash incentive payouts.

Other top Apple executives, including Luca Maestri, Kate Adams, Deirdre O’Brien, and Jeff Williams, each earned $27.2 million in 2024.
