According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is reportedly working on an 18.8-inch foldable iPad with a nearly invisible crease, set to release around 2028.

When unfolded, this device could essentially be like “two iPad Pros side-by-side.”

The foldable iPad has been rumored for years, with some reports suggesting a smaller model could launch in 2026 or 2027.

The new device may feature elements of both iPads and Macs, with iPadOS advanced enough to run macOS apps by 2028. However, it’s not expected to run macOS itself.

Apple is also working on a foldable iPhone, though it may not arrive before 2026. The company is also planning OLED MacBook Pro and MacBook Air releases in the coming years, with the foldable iPad likely to play a key role in Apple’s future product lineup.
