Samsung Electronics has officially unveiled the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra in the US on February 26, 2026. The new lineup focuses on faster performance, upgraded cameras, and more proactive AI features.

Samsung says the Galaxy S26 series is designed to reduce the number of steps users take to complete everyday tasks.

AI That Works in the Background

The Galaxy S26 series introduces more advanced Galaxy AI tools:

  • Now Nudge & Now Brief – Smart reminders and contextual suggestions
  • Circle to Search with Google – Search multiple objects directly from your screen
  • Upgraded Bixby with more natural voice commands
  • Built-in AI photo editing using text prompts

Samsung says the AI works quietly in the background so users can focus on results, not settings.

Faster Performance

The Galaxy S26 Ultra runs on a customized Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm.

Key improvements include:

  • Faster CPU and GPU performance
  • Stronger AI processing (NPU boost)
  • Improved cooling with a redesigned vapor chamber
  • Up to 75% charge in 30 minutes (Ultra model)

Samsung says this makes multitasking, gaming, and video recording smoother.
