The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has seen notable price drops across several major markets, as retailers move to clear stock ahead of the expected launch of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Online sellers such as Amazon and Best Buy are leading the discounts, offering the flagship phone at prices well below its original launch cost.

The reductions follow a common retail pattern, where prices fall in the weeks before a new premium model is announced.

Price Cuts Across Key Markets

In the United States, the unlocked 256GB Galaxy S25 Ultra, which launched at $1,299.99, has dropped to as low as $1,049 on Amazon. Best Buy is also offering discounts, with prices around $1,129.98, depending on availability and promotions.

In India, Amazon has listed the 12GB RAM, 256GB storage variant for about ₹107,440, down from its launch price of ₹129,999. Additional bank offers and promotions may reduce the final price further.

In the United Kingdom, prices have fallen sharply. While the phone originally launched at £1,249, online price comparison sites now show new units starting from around £715.99, depending on the retailer.

S26 Ultra Launch Expected Soon

The price cuts come as Samsung prepares to unveil its next flagship lineup. The Galaxy S26 series is widely expected to debut at a Galaxy Unpacked event in February 2026, with February 25 frequently cited as the likely announcement date.

Following the launch, the new devices are expected to reach stores in early March 2026, shifting consumer attention toward the latest hardware and software upgrades.

Buying Opportunity Before the Next Generation

For consumers, the timing presents a potential opportunity. The Galaxy S25 Ultra remains a high-end smartphone, and the current discounts allow buyers to access flagship features at a significantly lower cost, just before Samsung’s next generation enters the market.
