Rising hip-hop artist Nino Paid, born Jacquan Andrews, was arrested on July 24 in Maryland by the U.S. Marshals Service, according to multiple reports. Authorities have not yet disclosed the charges, and no official statement has been released regarding the arrest.

The involvement of the U.S. Marshals, who typically handle federal-level or high-priority fugitives, has sparked speculation about the seriousness of the situation. As of now, the details of the case remain unclear, leaving fans and the music industry searching for answers.

Nino Paid, 23, is a rapper from Landover, Maryland, known for his emotionally raw lyrics and vivid depictions of street life. He first gained major attention with his 2023 breakout single, “Pain & Possibilities”, and has since released two full-length albums: Can’t Go Bacc (2024) and Love Me as I Am (2025). Earlier this year, he was recognized as part of the 2025 XXL Freshman Class, highlighting his rising influence in the hip-hop scene.

Andrews has spoken openly about his troubled past, which includes 18 months in juvenile detention for robbery and auto theft. Those personal experiences have shaped much of his music and identity as an artist.

As news of the arrest spreads, supporters and fellow musicians are awaiting further information. For now, the circumstances surrounding the arrest remain a mystery, with no court dates, legal representation, or potential charges officially confirmed.
