Twenty One Pilots Announce “Breach” Album Release Date and 13-Song Tracklist

Twenty One Pilots have announced their eighth studio album “Breach” will be released on September 12, along with a 13-song tracklist that continues the band’s long-running narrative series.

The Columbus duo revealed the album details in a unique way, with singer Tyler Joseph handwriting the tracklist on a yellow legal pad in a video posted on social media. The album will be released on Fueled By Ramen just days before the band launches their Clancy Tour: Breach 2025 stadium and amphitheater tour.

The tour begins on September 18 at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, home of FC Cincinnati soccer club, located near the band’s Ohio hometown. The timing suggests the album release is strategically planned to coincide with the tour launch.

Twenty One Pilots “Breach” Album Tracklist:

  1. “City Walls”
  2. “RAWFEAR”
  3. “Drum Show”
  4. “Garbage”
  5. “The Contract”
  6. “Downstairs”
  7. “Robot Voices”
  8. “Center Mass”
  9. “Cottonwood”
  10. “One Way”
  11. “Days Lie Dormant”
  12. “Tally”
  13. “Intentions”

“Breach” will continue the thematic narrative arc that began with the band’s 2015 album “Blurryface” and continued through “Trench” (2018), “Scaled and Icy” (2021), and “Clancy” (2024). The band previously teased this continuation in May, writing on social media: “Hello Clancy. Hello Blurryface. Let’s finish this.”

The duo, which consists of Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, previewed the new album last month with the single “The Contract,” which appears as track five on the upcoming release. The full tracklist includes songs titled “City Walls,” “RAWFEAR,” “Drum Show,” “Garbage,” and “Intentions.”

True to the band’s reputation for elaborate mythology and fan engagement, Twenty One Pilots have been dropping Easter eggs and clues about the new album during their recent tour supporting “Clancy.” These included morse code messages that prompted fans to engage in the code-breaking and clue-searching activities that have become a trademark of the band’s decade-long album series.

The announcement maintains the band’s tradition of creative marketing and deep storytelling that has built a devoted fanbase over the past decade. The interconnected album narrative has become a defining feature of Twenty One Pilots’ work, with each release adding new chapters to an ongoing story.
