SZA Fires Back at Nicki Minaj Over TDE Punch Accusations

A social media dispute between Nicki Minaj and SZA erupted this week after Minaj publicly accused Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) president Punch of harassment. The incident led SZA to quickly defend her label and its leader, marking the first public clash between the two artists.

Nicki Minaj Accuses TDE’s Punch

Nicki Minaj took to Twitter with a series of posts criticizing TDE and specifically calling out Punch, accusing him of bullying and harassment. Minaj alleged that Punch repeatedly targeted her on social media and even mocked him by giving him the nickname “Minus 30 Million.” She also posted a photo of Punch with a caption implying he wouldn’t confront a man the same way he treated her online.

In further tweets, Minaj claimed she had rejected several of Punch’s business proposals and suggested that his alleged behavior was retaliation. She stated she had evidence of bullying and accused Punch of trying to damage her brand’s reputation.

SZA Defends Her Label

SZA, who is signed to TDE, responded directly to Minaj’s comments. In a message captured by journalist Victor Baez of Club Ambition, SZA initially replied, “Mercury retrograde… don’t take the bait lol silly goose,” suggesting Minaj’s comments were not worth reacting to.

However, after Minaj replied with insults, including “Go draw your freckles back on bookie… liar liar pants on fire,” SZA answered more directly, saying, “I don’t give a f*** bout none of that weird sh*t you popping.”

Background and Speculation

There was no known public feud between Minaj and SZA before this exchange. Some speculate that Minaj’s attack may be partly linked to a lawsuit filed earlier this year against TDE by two anonymous women accusing label employees of misconduct. However, Minaj did not mention this directly in her tweets.

The situation is still developing, with both artists’ fans closely watching for further updates. For now, the clash has stirred debate across social media, raising questions about online disputes and the role of labels in artist conflicts.
