A new David Bowie box set titled I Can’t Give Everything Away (2002–2016) will be released on September 12. The collection brings together the legendary artist’s work from his final years, featuring remastered albums, rare recordings, and live performances. It will be available in 18-LP, 13-CD, and digital formats via Parlophone.
The box set includes remastered editions of Heathen, Reality, The Next Day, and The Next Day Extra EP, along with the original versions of Blackstar and the No Plan EP. A key highlight is the previously unreleased Re:call 6, a collection of 41 rarities, some of which are available physically for the first time.
Also featured are two full live albums—one from Bowie’s 2002 performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival and another from the 2003 Reality tour. Fans can already listen to a rare live version of “New Killer Star” from a 2003 AOL Session ahead of the release.
Producer Tony Visconti, a longtime Bowie collaborator, contributed to the remastering process and added notes, drawings, and handwritten lyrics to the accompanying hardback book included in the physical editions.
This release marks the sixth entry in a series of comprehensive Bowie box sets that began with Five Years in 2015. It offers a detailed look at the artist’s creative output in the last phase of his career, up to his death in 2016.
Meanwhile, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London will open the David Bowie Centre next year, showcasing the late artist’s archives. The exhibition is set to open on September 13 and will feature guest curators, including Nile Rodgers and members of the band The Last Dinner Party.
