BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated Deadline reunion tour kicked off in South Korea at Goyang Stadium, but the K-pop group is receiving criticism over their recent performance.
Fans and netizens have expressed disappointment, saying the group lacked energy, showed stamina issues, and had inconsistent synchronization during their act.
Despite the excitement surrounding the tour’s start, several social media users pointed out that BLACKPINK’s stage presence seemed weak. Some compared their performance unfavorably to other artists, sharing clips highlighting the difference in energy.
One comment read, “If Blackpink is one thing, it’s consistent—the lack of energy and not being in sync.” Another user questioned the group’s preparation, saying, “The lack of practice is evident on that stage.”
The Deadline World Tour, BLACKPINK’s third worldwide concert tour, began on July 5 and is set to conclude in January 2026 in Hong Kong. The group, formed by YG Entertainment, debuted in 2016 and is known for hits like Playing with Fire, Ddu-Du Ddu-Du, and Pink Venom.
Despite their global success, BLACKPINK will need to address the concerns of their fans as the tour continues across Asia and other regions.
