Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Rumored to Feature Compact Battery With Faster Charging

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra isn’t expected until early 2026, but new leaks have already revealed details about its battery and main camera.

According to sources like GalaxyClub and trusted leaker UniverseIce, the S26 Ultra will continue to use a 5,000mAh battery—the same capacity as the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

However, the battery’s energy density has reportedly improved, allowing Samsung to make the battery physically smaller while keeping the same power.

This change could make the phone slimmer or free up internal space for other components. UniverseIce also suggested that the S26 Ultra may support faster charging, but no specific speeds were mentioned. The S25 Ultra supports up to 45W charging.

In terms of the camera, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to retain a 200MP main sensor, just like its predecessor. It’s not yet clear whether Samsung will introduce a new sensor or stick with the current one.

The Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to be unveiled in January 2026, and more leaks will likely surface as the launch date approaches.
