One UI 8 Bedtime Guidance Update for Samsung Galaxy Watch

Samsung Galaxy Watch Gets One UI 8 Beta Featuring New Health and Sleep Tools

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 Watch Beta for select Galaxy Watch models. This update brings several new health and fitness features designed to improve user experience, especially for runners and those focused on heart health.

One of the highlights is the Running Coach, which offers real-time guidance and motivation tailored to each runner. This feature is particularly helpful for beginners training for races ranging from 5K runs to full marathons. It analyzes running performance to create a safe, optimized training plan that helps prevent injuries.

The update also introduces Bedtime Guidance, which studies your sleep patterns over the last three days to recommend the best bedtime for improved alertness the next day. Another new addition is Vascular Load tracking, which measures stress on your vascular system during sleep to give insights into your heart health and how lifestyle factors affect it.

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch now also includes an Antioxidant Index feature. Using the BioActive sensor, it quickly measures carotenoid levels in your skin, reflecting your intake of antioxidant-rich foods, encouraging healthier eating habits.

Currently, some features like the Running Coach are limited to Galaxy Watch 7 series and later models, but this may expand after the beta phase. To join the beta program, users should check the Samsung Members app for enrollment, though it may not be live immediately.
