New Balance is bringing a fresh new look to its popular 990v6 sneaker with the upcoming “Inkwell” colorway, set to release on June 12.
This version is part of the MADE in USA collection and features a unique blend of materials and shades of blue.
The shoe’s upper combines a blue suede mudguard with a synthetic blue base, accented by black suede and nubuck underlays.
The classic “N” logo stands out with blue lettering outlined in white. Additional white details appear on the lining, laces, and forefoot of the gray and off-white midsole.
Although New Balance has not officially announced the release, select retailers like BSTN have already listed the sneaker, confirming the June 12 release date. The shoe is expected to retail at $200 USD.
The 990v6 has been a steady favorite since its introduction over two years ago, and this new “Inkwell” colorway adds a stylish option for fans of the model.
