Trump May Delay TikTok Ban Again – TikTok Responds with Confidence

TikTok is not leaving the U.S. just yet. Even though Congress passed a law that could ban the app unless it is sold to a U.S. company, President Trump has already given two 75-day extensions — and now he’s considering another one.

At an event in Manhattan yesterday, TikTok met with major advertisers to talk about its future. The company’s VP of Global Business Solutions, Khartoon Weiss, said, “TikTok is here – we are here.” Her statement came after Trump hinted he might delay the ban again.

Weiss also said that more people are using TikTok instead of Google for searching. TikTok now has 170 million users in the U.S., showing how big it has become.

The event, hosted by comedian Hasan Minhaj, was attended by top brands like L’Oreal and Unilever. TikTok showed off new tools for advertisers to help them run better campaigns on the platform.

Several major U.S. companies, including Amazon, Microsoft, and even MrBeast, have shown interest in buying TikTok. However, during this event, TikTok made no comment about selling itself or separating from its Chinese owner, ByteDance.

For now, TikTok remains in the U.S. — and it’s making clear it plans to stay.
