Netflix TV New Look

Netflix Is Updating Its TV App — Here’s What You’ll See First

Netflix is changing the way users watch TV. Starting May 19, 2025, the streaming service will begin rolling out a new TV interface that is simpler, faster, and more personal.

Most smart TVs and TV streaming devices will receive the update automatically. A welcome message will appear on eligible devices to help users explore the new design.

The new interface includes several important changes. Navigation is now easier with clear tabs at the top of the screen for Search, Shows, Movies, Games, and a new section called My Netflix.

Netflix will also provide real-time recommendations. As users watch or browse, the homepage will update to show more content that fits their interests and mood. For example, if someone watches a romantic comedy, similar movies may appear right away.

The new My Netflix hub helps users keep track of shows and movies. It includes Continue Watching, My List, and reminders for new releases.

Lastly, Netflix now shows more details about each title before users press play. These include the plot, runtime, awards, cast, and Top 10 status.

Netflix says these changes will help users find the right show or movie faster and enjoy a smoother experience.
