Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on May 26, 2026, and fans have mixed feelings.
The announcement came through a tweet on May 2, 2025, ending months of speculation. Players had hoped the game would arrive in late 2025 after the first trailer was released on December 5, 2023.
The post received thousands of reactions within minutes. While some fans are happy to have a confirmed date, many are disappointed by the long wait.
