Samsung has started releasing a new version of its Software Update App, v4.3.25, aimed at improving the installation process for the upcoming One UI 7 update.
This new update follows the rollout of One UI 7 earlier this month, which was briefly halted due to a significant bug affecting the Galaxy S24 series.
The new Software Update App version is designed to enhance the connection between devices and Samsung’s servers, streamlining the download and installation of software updates.
The app will be automatically installed in the background, either through a security update or upon rebooting your device, so no manual installation is required.
One UI 7 Rollout Schedule
Samsung’s One UI 7 update is expected to reach several devices in stages. Starting in April 2025, the Galaxy S24 series, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 will be among the first to receive the update.
By May, older flagship models like the Galaxy S23, S22, and S21 series will also get the new OS. The update will extend to foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 5, 4, and 3, as well as the Z Flip 5, 4, and 3, along with various Fan Edition models and premium Tab S tablets.
For non-premium Galaxy devices, the Android 15 update is expected to roll out starting in June 2025. Availability may vary by model, region, carrier, and country.
Samsung emphasizes that if any issues arise during the rollout, the update may be temporarily paused to ensure a stable, bug-free experience for users. The company is prioritizing a smooth and reliable update process for all its devices.
