Deutsche Telekom AI Phone

Deutsche Telekom has confirmed the launch of its AI Phone at MWC 2025, with availability expected in the second half of this year.

The smartphone will debut in select markets first, with a wider rollout across key European regions in 2026.

Magenta AI OS with Perplexity Assistant

The AI Phone will run on the custom Magenta AI operating system, replacing the conventional app-based interface with Perplexity Assistant.

Users can interact through voice commands, text inputs, or even the camera to perform tasks like translations, online shopping, appointment bookings, and email management — all without switching between apps.

AI-Powered Features

Deutsche Telekom’s AI Phone will integrate with:

  • Google Cloud AI
  • Gemini Multimodal Live API
  • ElevenLabs
  • Picsart

The AI capabilities will also be available through the MeinMagenta app on Google Play, extending the phone’s smart features to other devices.

With a focus on seamless user experiences, the AI Phone aims to redefine how users interact with smartphones.
