Samsung has launched a new trade-in program called “Galaxy Easy Compensation” for Galaxy phone owners in Korea.

This scheme allows users to get money for their old devices without needing to buy a new phone.

The trade-in values will depend on the phone’s condition, categorized as excellent, good, or recycle.

The program is available for devices like the Galaxy S23, S22, S21, S20, Galaxy Z Fold, and Galaxy Z Flip models.

Samsung plans to resell these devices after refurbishing them. The scheme, which started on January 14, 2025, may expand to other countries, but details for the U.S. remain unclear.

Samsung aims to improve the resale value of its phones and extend their market value, similar to iPhones.

This new initiative is part of their broader goal to enhance Galaxy phones’ longevity and software support.
