The fridge’s handles are on the wrong side, making it impossible to close, and there are plates stacked inside the fridge as if it were a cupboard, which is a bizarre detail that immediately raises suspicions.
These errors are typical of AI-generated art, which often suffers from “hallucinations”—mistakes that are hard to ignore.
While AI-generated art might be cheaper and faster to produce, Netflix’s failure to correct these mistakes has led to criticism.
The generic, soft AI look also feels lazy, which could harm the promotion of the show. As AI art continues to be a controversial topic, some viewers are unhappy with its use, and Netflix’s reputation could suffer if it continues down this path.
