Jaemin, a member of the popular K-pop group NCT, has donated 100 million won (approximately $68,832) to UNICEF Korea to support children in need around the world.
The donation was made on behalf of NCT’s fandom, NCTzen Dream.
The funds were raised through the sale of framed photographs from Jaemin’s first individual photo exhibition, titled “Narcissism,” which took place in June.
UNICEF Korea announced that the funds would be used to help children, especially during the cold winter months.
Jaemin expressed his gratitude towards his fans, saying, “I wanted to do something meaningful together with my fans as a way to repay their love.”
He added, “I hope this can help, even if just a little, in ensuring all children have a warm year-end.”
This generous donation highlights Jaemin’s commitment to giving back to the community and making a positive impact on the lives of children worldwide.
