Apple Reportedly Developing Giant Foldable iPad and Foldable iPhones

Apple iPad

Apple is reportedly working on a giant foldable iPad and thinner foldable iPhones, according to Bloomberg’s Power On newsletter.

The foldable iPad, expected around 2028, could open to the size of two iPad Pros for better gaming and media experiences while folding for portability.

What’s Different About Apple’s Foldables?

Unlike rival devices from Samsung, Microsoft, and Lenovo, Apple aims to eliminate the display crease entirely, making the screen look like one seamless piece of glass. Early prototypes have shown progress, but Apple is still perfecting the design.

Foldable iPhone and Thinner Models

  • Apple is also reportedly developing a foldable iPhone, which could launch by 2026.
  • A thinner iPhone is expected to arrive as soon as next year.

Why It Matters

Apple remains the only major smartphone maker without a foldable device. Foldables are still a niche market but are projected to grow rapidly, especially if Apple enters the space.

Apple has yet to comment on the reports.
