With GTA 6 releasing in late 2025, fans are wondering if characters from GTA 5, like Michael, Franklin, or Trevor, will show up in the new game.
While Rockstar Games is keeping details under wraps, itโs possible we could see familiar faces in minor roles or cameos.
Rockstar often brings back supporting characters, as seen with GTA Online, which featured characters from GTA 4 like Gay Tony and Brucie.
However, characters from older games, like Vice City’s Tommy Vercetti, are unlikely to appear, partly because of the different universes in the franchise and the passing of actor Ray Liotta.
As for the main protagonists, itโs more likely that Michael, Franklin, or Trevor could appear in GTA 6. Leaks suggest GTA 6 takes place after GTA 5, and all three characters are expected to still be alive.
Michael could be a film producer in Vice City, Franklin might visit for business or vacation, and Trevor could show up in certain areas of the city.
While these characters probably wonโt have major roles, they could make an appearance in side missions or brief cameos.
Rockstar is likely to focus on new characters like Lucia and Jason, but the return of familiar faces would add excitement for fans. Only time will tell when the game releases in 2025.
