HMD has introduced Flashy, its first Smart Outfit for the HMD Fusion device. The accessory is a ring-shaped LED light designed for content creators and selfie enthusiasts.

Flashy encircles the camera module and can rotate to provide lighting for both front and rear cameras. It integrates directly with the device’s camera app, offering RGB color and brightness controls.

Made from 100% recycled TPU, the Outfit comes in Indigo Blue and Pink colors. Users can simply snap it onto the Fusion device for immediate use.

The accessory is particularly useful for low-light photography and videography. It eliminates the need for separate lighting equipment or bulky cases.

HMD is pricing the Flashy Outfit at $79.99. The company also plans to release a toolkit for developers to create their own Smart Outfits.

This launch is part of HMD’s innovative approach to modular device design, allowing users to enhance their smartphone’s functionality through attachable accessories.
