Montell Fish has officially announced that his next album, Charlotte, will be released on Friday, August 23.
The 13-track record features collaborations with Daniel Caesar, Clams Casino, Alex G and more, and explores themes of “memory, attachment, loss, and growth and the psychology behind all of these human experiences.”

Charlotte is the second offering in Fish’s trilogy that began with the 2022 release of Jamie. The album incorporates Fish’s readings about psychology, memory and childhood, with lyrics relating to “love, power, failure and success.”
Prior to the album’s release, Fish shared the EP Intercession Before Charlotte under his dj gummy bear moniker, which he described as “an acknowledgment of ‘Yes, I’m working on Charlotte, but it’s not ready yet. I need more time before I bring the album to life.’
