Nike Refurbished: Giving Pre-Owned Sneakers a Second Life

Nike Refurbished Nike Refurbished

Nike has expanded its Nike Refurbished program, allowing customers to purchase lightly used and refurbished sneakers at select stores.

The initiative takes returned, exchanged, or slightly imperfect Nike footwear and puts it through a rigorous refurbishment process before reselling it at a discounted price.

The refurbished shoes are graded into three categories based on condition. Initially launched in 15 U.S. stores, the program is now available at over 30 Nike Factory, Nike Unite, and Nike Community stores across the country.

The expansion is part of Nike’s “Move to Zero” sustainability initiative, which aims to reach zero carbon and zero waste by 2025. By giving returned and imperfect products a second life, Nike can keep more shoes out of landfills.

The Nike Refurbished products are typically discounted by up to 50% off the original retail price, providing an affordable and sustainable option for consumers.
