K-pop boy group Zerobaseone (ZB1) has solidified its standing in Japan, topping Tower Records’ K-pop bestseller chart for 2024.
Their first Japanese single, Yura Yura -Fate no Hana-, released in March, claimed the top spot in cumulative sales from January to October.
The group also secured fifth and ninth places on the chart with their mini-albums CINEMA PARADISE (August) and You Had Me at Hello (May).
Zerobaseone’s influence extends to Spotify Japan, where they ranked fifth among the Most Shared Artists and landed their track Feel the POP in the Most Shared Songs list.
Since debuting in 2023, the nine-member group has seen rapid success, breaking records with over 500,000 sales of their Japanese debut single and earning double platinum certification.
Their fan concerts, including sold-out performances at Japan’s K-Arena Yokohama, attracted over 60,000 attendees.
In 2024, ZB1 also contributed to the Pokémon anime with their song Only One Story and completed their first overseas tour, TIMELESS WORLD.
Their upcoming Japanese EP, PREZENT, releasing January 29, will feature six tracks, including original Japanese songs and local adaptations of their Korean hits.
Zerobaseone continues to rise as one of K-pop’s most impactful rookies, earning accolades and expanding their global footprint.
