YouTube Music Users Report Bug with Top Listener Badges

YouTube Music

YouTube Music users have reported a bug that is causing their Top Listener badges to be duplicated instead of receiving new ones for December.

The issue has appeared after YouTube introduced the badges feature in October, allowing users to earn badges for being the top listener of an artist or band during a specific month.

The Bug

Instead of receiving a new badge for December, users have been seeing their November Top Listener badge repeated, complete with the same background color and date.

This glitch has affected users over the past 24 hours, leaving them without their expected December badges.

What YouTube Music Users Can Do

To access the badges, users can open YouTube Music on Android or iOS, tap on their profile avatar, and navigate to “Badges.”

The platform also allows users to share or save a portrait graphic of their badges.

YouTube is expected to address the issue soon, issuing the correct badges for December.

The feature has been well-received by users, and this bug is seen as a temporary setback.
