Xiaomi Launches HyperOS 2.2 with Smarter AI and Better Camera

Xiaomi has officially released the new HyperOS 2.2 update today, May 28, 2025. This is the biggest software upgrade from the company this year.

It can also pull ID numbers from photos using smart screen recognition. This tool works only on select Xiaomi models with HyperAI and Super Xiaoai 7.4 or later.

Other updates include better travel planning, smarter battery-saving tips, and improved notification settings. Navigation gestures are improved to avoid accidental AI wake-ups. Accessibility is better now, with TalkBack fixes and improved voice controls for various apps.
