Xiaoyu Intelligent Manufacturing, a robotics company backed by Xiaomi, has successfully raised ¥100 million in Series A funding.

The company focuses on embodied intelligence, which integrates AI into robots that can learn and interact with the environment.

Xiaoyu’s star product, the “Xiaoyu Brain,” equips robots with the ability to perform various industrial tasks.

The funding round was led by the Beijing Information Industry Development Investment Fund, continuing the strong financial support for the company after an angel investment earlier this year.

Notable investors include Xiaomi Group and prominent individuals like Professor Wang Tianmiao.

Founded in January 2023, Xiaoyu Intelligent Manufacturing is led by former Xiaomi executives, including Qiao Zhongliang, the former head of MIUI R&D. The company’s elite team also includes former employees of Huawei, Microsoft, and ByteDance.

The funding will accelerate Xiaoyu’s R&D, particularly in refining the capabilities of the Xiaoyu Brain.

Xiaomi views the company as a strategic part of its larger AIoT and robotics ambitions, positioning itself at the forefront of AI-driven automation. This investment further solidifies Xiaomi’s commitment to the future of robotics and AI innovation.
