Xiaomi has confirmed it is working on a fix for a critical gaming bug affecting POCO X7 Pro users running HyperOS version 2.0.102.0.VOJINXM, which currently prevents access to the 90 FPS option in PUBG Mobile.
The issue limits the device’s high refresh rate performance, a key selling point for gamers who purchased the POCO X7 Pro for its strong gaming hardware.
As a result, users are unable to enjoy smoother gameplay, reduced input lag, and faster visual response—key advantages in competitive gaming.
Xiaomi identified the problem as a software-level conflict between PUBG Mobile’s frame rate detection system and the current HyperOS version.
While the POCO X7 Pro is capable of supporting 90 FPS due to its advanced display and processor, the software bug restricts access to that feature.
Xiaomi’s development team has made the fix a priority and is actively working on a solution to restore full gaming performance. Until the update is released, users can boost their device’s gaming capabilities with tools like the MemeOS Enhancer app, available on the Play Store.
The app offers hidden game modes, system tweaks, and optimizations designed to enhance gaming experiences.
This effort highlights Xiaomi’s commitment to delivering top-tier performance and maintaining POCO’s reputation as a gaming-focused smartphone brand.
