X-Men Characters Return for Avengers Doomsday as Mutant Saga Begins

The Avengers DOOMSDAY cast continues to grow, with two X-Men characters reportedly joining the lineup to take on Doctor Doom.

X-23 and Beast Join the MCU

According to reliable leaker sources, Dafne Keen will reprise her role as X-23, first introduced in Logan.

This follows her recent appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine and her own comments expressing interest in returning to the role.

Additionally, industry insider Alex Perez revealed that Kelsey Grammer will return as Beast, a role he previously reprised in the post-credits scene of The Marvels.

Grammer has hinted that his return was “overwhelming” and that there have been discussions about his future in the MCU.

Mutants Take Center Stage

These additions could confirm the theory that Doctor Doom will merge the universes of Earth-616 (the MCU) and Earth-10005 (the X-Men universe).

While it’s uncertain whether these actors will remain for the Mutant Saga, their appearances could serve as a bridge for new actors to take on these iconic roles.

Marvel President Kevin Feige previously teased that the events of Secret Wars will usher in a new age for mutants and the X-Men, so we may see even more familiar faces from the X-Men universe joining the MCU in the coming months.
