Nigerian superstar Wizkid has released Morayo, his seventh studio album on November 22, 2024.
This 16-track collection marks his first full album since 2022’s More Love, Less Ego and features an impressive roster of guest artists, including Asake, Brent Faiyaz, Jazmine Sullivan, Tiakola, and Anaïs Cardot.
The album’s title is a tribute to Wizkid’s mother, with Morayo being a Yoruba word meaning “I see joy.”
In an interview with Esquire, Wizkid described the album as deeply personal, hoping it would “lift spirits and spread positive energy.”
With Morayo, Wizkid continues to blend Afrobeat rhythms with global influences, delivering an album that resonates with both his Nigerian roots and international appeal.
Fans can expect a deeply emotional, uplifting experience as the album showcases Wizkid’s growth both as an artist and as a person.
