Games like Dune: Awakening used this strategy. Players who bought the deluxe edition got to play five days before launch. However, that early access came with a much higher price.
Now, some GTA fans wonder if GTA 6 will follow the same path. On Reddit, a fan asked if Rockstar might offer early access for players who buy a more expensive version of the game.
Most fans believe Rockstar will not go this route. Many pointed out that Rockstar has never done early access with its major releases before. Some fans also worry about spoilers flooding the internet if early access happens.
One fan simply said, “Rockstar doesn’t pull that kind of thing.” Another added, “Imagine the spoilers that will hit the internet on the first day.”
