The countdown for GTA 6 continues as fans eagerly await the third trailer. Rockstar Games recently released the second trailer, but many believe it was a way to soften the blow of the game’s delay.
The delay has not been received badly by most fans, who support Rockstar’s decision to ensure a polished release. However, this extra time has opened up new marketing chances, even though GTA 6 hardly needs marketing given its huge popularity.
Fans are already guessing when the third trailer will arrive. One Reddit user suggested it might drop around late October or early November, possibly coinciding with pre-orders starting around the holidays. Others think it could be as late as December.
Many expect the third trailer to show more in-depth gameplay from the player’s point of view, since the second trailer mostly featured cutscenes and only limited gameplay.
We already know a lot about the two main characters, Lucia and Jason, but fans want to see more about the game world and what players can do in it.
Rockstar has plenty of time, as GTA 6’s release is set for May 2026, barring any new delays.
