WWDC 2025 is just two weeks away. Apple’s developer conference will start with a keynote on June 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. This event usually reveals the next versions of Apple’s operating systems, including iOS 19.

The first beta of iOS 19 is expected to be available to developers right after the keynote. The full update should release in September.

iOS 19 will bring a new design inspired by visionOS, the system used on Apple Vision Pro. The design will feature a glass-like look with translucent menus and buttons. A new floating tab bar may appear at the bottom of some built-in apps. This design change will also come to iPadOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, and tvOS 19.

Another exciting rumor is that iOS 19 could bring Stage Manager to iPhones with USB-C ports. This would allow iPhones to use a multitasking interface similar to iPads when connected to an external display. This feature would first be available on iPhone 15 models and newer.

Apple is also working on a new AI-powered battery management mode that will learn how you use your iPhone and adjust settings to save energy and extend battery life.

A major update coming in iOS 19 is end-to-end encryption for RCS messaging in the Messages app. This will keep your messages private and add features like message editing, unsending, in-line replies, and Tapbacks, similar to what iMessage already offers.

Apple plans to introduce several new accessibility features, such as labels for accessibility in the App Store, enhanced magnifier tools on Mac, live captions on Apple Watch, and a new Accessibility Reader that helps users with low vision or dyslexia. The company is also improving Braille support and making the Personal Voice feature faster and more natural.

Finally, some AirPods models may get a live translation feature. This will allow users to hear real-time translations during conversations in different languages, with the iPhone translating and playing back speech through the AirPods.

WWDC 2025 promises to bring many exciting software updates. Apple fans should keep an eye out on June 9 to see what new features iOS 19 and other systems will offer.
