Netflix is bringing Wednesday back this summer — and it’s bigger, darker, and deadlier. The hit Addams Family spinoff returns with Season 2 split into two parts: Part 1 premieres on August 6, and Part 2 follows on September 3, 2025.

The new season will include eight episodes in total, released in two batches of four. Fans got an early taste of the chaos ahead with a teaser trailer and the first six minutes of Episode 1, shown at Netflix’s Tudum 2025 event.

Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams, alongside cast regulars like Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Emma Myers, Fred Armisen, and more. Joining them are exciting new faces including Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, and Noah Taylor.

A-list guest stars are also on board. Lady Gaga joins as Rosaline Rotwood, a mysterious Nevermore teacher in Part 2. Other notable names include Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, and Haley Joel Osment. Actor Anthony Michael Hall also reunites with director Tim Burton for a key role.

Season 2 picks up with Wednesday returning to Nevermore Academy, where she faces new enemies, deeper mysteries, and the aftermath of her psychic powers evolving — in unexpected and dangerous ways.

Behind the scenes, creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return as showrunners, with Tim Burton once again directing four episodes. Paco Cabezas and Angela Robinson will also direct episodes this season.

From supernatural thrills to twisted humor, Wednesday Season 2 is ready to raise the stakes. With more family drama, fresh villains, and eerie surprises, it’s set to be one of Netflix’s biggest events of 2025.

Wednesday Season 2 premieres August 6 on Netflix, with Part 2 arriving September 3.
